Ursa Pouyarad grew up in Ljubljana, the capital of a small country by the Adriatic sea called Slovenia. Today Ursa is working as a real estate broker for 3SA Estate. She has a background in working as a consultant with luxury cosmetics as well as a freelance editor for two Slovenian fashion and lifestyle magazines, writing articles about luxury hotels, fashion, and cosmetics. Furthermore, she hosted local and national television shows about high-end cars.

In 2011 she moved to Dubai to work with interior design, which was one of her studies and was then connected to real estate. Her positive attitude, communication skills, and experience in sales were big advantages for her working as a real estate broker. After seven years in Dubai and a baby boy, she was looking for a change of environment. It brought her to Marbella which was close to home and the ideal place to continue her passion for real estate and enjoy perfect weather.

How has working in the luxury sector benefitted you in working in Costa Del Sol?

Costa Del Sol offers a luxury lifestyle, exclusive villas, and mansions, therefore a lot of luxury consumers who have a very different mindset. My background of working in the luxury sector helped me understand the mindset of those consumers. Luxury buyers are different, they aren’t buying because they need to but because they want too. They are not just looking for a home, they are looking for an experience. A unique experience that location can offer.

Could you elaborate on why you think having a positive attitude in working in Real Estate has benefitted you in your career?

Your attitude impacts everything. It directs your thoughts, your energy, and the actions you take. You should not only have a positive attitude but also express it consistently because the results you create are very different when you have a positive attitude or a negative one. The positive energy you exude attracts others, which is very important when it comes to influencing prospects and clients. Attitude determines how well you will do. If clients feel good and comfortable working with you, they will come back and they will refer friends.

What is your best tip for increasing your self-confidence?

Do what you love and love what you do. Don’t compromise between your passion and profession. Think and act positively. Be grateful.

Tell a fun fact about yourself.

I escaped from preschool when I was 4. Walked alone all the way home, crossing streets and knocked at the door. My mum was home with my newborn brother and when opened the door she almost had a hardtack.
