Head of Development

Borja has worked with 3SA Estate since its founding and now operates as Head of Development.
He has always had an interest in constructing and architecture. After completing his business degree in Madrid, Zuloaga relocated to London to work for a Spanish developer firm, where he was responsible for developing new commercial channels in the United Kingdom and Europe.

He was thereafter offered the chance to continue working on the Costa del Sol, where he fulfilled both professional and personal goals in Marbella. He adjusted fast and effortlessly, considering Madrid and Marbella are almost twin cities. He claims that Marbella has traditionally been the preferred vacation resort for ‘madrileños’, which includes him. Marbella has a high degree of multiculturalism, which he finds fascinating.

MARBELLA IS A HIGH MULTICULTURAL MIX OF CITIZENS WHICH I FIND VERY INTERESTING.

When is the best time to travel to Marbella?
I would say that the spring and autumn in Marbella are special. If I had to choose two months, it would be September and October. Marbella is alive the whole year, fantastic weather with mild winter, so anytime would be great. Christmas time is both calm and charming.

Describe your ideal weekend.
My ideal weekend would start at the Real Padel Club playing padel or sea sailing or any other water sport, like a jetski. But since Marbella offers fantastic weather, sunbathing with a book combined with music would also be an option. Lunch would be enjoyed at a beachfront chiringuito with fresh fish for the ’paella’ or at the ’espeto’ way, with some good Spanish wine. At night, I’m relaxing at home, meeting friends and family on a BBQ dinner in my garden. I’d use Sunday to visit any exciting town around. There are more than 100 only in Malaga!
